Epic Med Staffing offers per diem, short-term and long-term assignments in hospitals and surgical centers throughout Illinois. This means we can offer you assignments ranging from one shift to one year and beyond.
Because we believe a work/life balance is important, Epic Med provides paid time off (PTO) for all regular full-time employees. PTO may be taken for any reason, including vacation, sick days, or in observance of a religious holiday. Holiday pay is dependent on the facility. Some facilities allow for Holiday pay and others will give you alternate shift options to make up for the time lost because of the closure of the facility.
Prior to placement in any open assignment, EMS will confer with you to go over the specifics, so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you feel the assignment is right for you. Once accepted, we do expect our standard of professionalism to be maintained and the assignment worked to completion. In the rare instance, despite thorough consideration, you find that your current assignment isn't a good fit, you will contact your EMS representative to discuss your reasons for wanting to withdraw. If appropriate, we will discuss a compromise with the client in an effort to keep the assignment for you. If circumstances result in a withdrawal from the assignment, EMS will look for an alternate HCP to replace you because we pride ourselves on always honoring the terms of our agreement with the client. To that end you will be expected to honor the assignment agreement until your replacement can be found.
Like any job, Epic Med Staffing’s employee salaries depend on skill, location, and experience; EMS offers competitive wages because our goal is to employ the very best talent available. We have a schedule of bi-weekly pay dates and offer direct deposit depending on your preference.
When there is a new open assignment that you qualify for based on your skill set and availability, EMS will immediately contact you to discuss the details of the assignment to decide if it’s a good fit for you.
